A physicist accidentally pulls his great-great-grandfather through a time portal from 19th-century New York to the present, where Leopold falls for his ex-girlfriend Kate.

Stuart Besser, an amateur physicist, discovers a time portal in New York City. He accidentally brings Leopold, the Duke of Albany and his great-great-grandfather, from 1876 to the present day. Leopold, a charming nobleman, meets and falls in love with Kate, Stuart's practical and career-focused ex-girlfriend.
